Homes closer to the bluffs often have wide ocean views and sunsets over the water. The bluff-top path along Paseo del Mar is a favorite for walks, and the cove below is a well-known surf spot.

Daily life is quiet. Errands happen at Lunada Bay Plaza or in Rolling Hills Estates and Torrance, and commutes are longer than from the beach cities, which is the tradeoff most residents accept for the space and the views.
