Hermosa Beach Valley Homes for Sale

Hermosa Valley is the middle band of Hermosa Beach, between Valley Drive and Ardmore Avenue on the west and Pacific Coast Highway on the east. It runs along the Greenbelt, the wood-chip path that families, runners and dog walkers use every day, and it holds some of the largest lots in the city.

This is where many Hermosa families settle. The streets are calmer than the Sand Section, parking is easier, and the beach is still a short bike ride or walk downhill. Homes are mostly single-family, from older ranch homes to newer two-story builds, with a few larger condo complexes near Pier Avenue. Because the land rises toward PCH, some homes on the east side of the Valley have ocean views. Buyers often mention the pocket of larger lots north of Gould Avenue and the Hidden Hill area, where streets end in cul-de-sacs.

Hermosa Valley is also close to the district's school campuses. Hermosa Beach City School District serves TK through 8th grade, and students choose Mira Costa High School or Redondo Union High School after that. Near the city's north and south edges, check the exact address, because a block can mean a different city and school district.
